Dr Austin Churm (GDC No. 80580)
Austin qualified from Newcastle University with a Merit in Restorative Dentistry in 2002. he was awarded a place on the General Professional Training scheme at Newcastle Dental Hospital during which time he completed his membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004.
He then went on to combine working as an associate at 137 The Dental Practice with an Honorary Clinical Lecturer post at Newcastle University which he held from 2004 until 2015.
Austin has also completed a large number of postgraduate courses including the Paul Tipton training in restorative dentistry in Manchester over a 2 year period.
He is currently a Foundation Dentist Trainer in which he mentors newly qualified dentists for their first year in dental practice post qualification.
Outside of dentistry Austin is married with two children. He enjoys fly fishing and cycling and supports Newcastle Falcons rugby club.
